He brought back the report which, although really great, had yet more stuff on it that wound me up. There's an A4 sized sheet attached for parent comments, which apparently are welcomed. I don't think mine would be though!

Big mamma frog - LOVE that preschool teacher!!Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12921079511239804720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5941583597167539893.post-12962915508188164562012-03-09T19:22:57.078+00:002012-03-09T19:22:57.078+00:00Great post!

The leader there was totally fed up with the continuous government initiatives and the tickbox culture. When it came to the end of my last child's sessions the leader handed over a folder. She said something along the lines of: 'I'm supposed to tick all the boxes, stick all these photos according to date and development, but as you home educate I knew you wouldn't mind if I didn't. We both know that's not what childhood is about.' :)Big mamma froghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03006397435397636499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5941583597167539893.post-48765807847658663032012-03-07T21:27:03.256+00:002012-03-07T21:27:03.256+00:00I don't know how I would cope at a parent'...I don't know how I would cope at a parent's evening - I found nursery tick boxes infuriating enough! I have to say though, chatting to the ladies at the nursery, they always said it was really nice talking to me, because I couldn't give a monkeys about the tick boxes and was only happy for my child to be there if the child was happy too. If they're happy, they'll learn for sure!Motherfunkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10809370449833738968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5941583597167539893.post-41353127783245761262012-03-07T20:47:02.390+00:002012-03-07T20:47:02.390+00:00Hi Jane,
